FRUIT SMOOTHIES
Natural fruit smoothies
are a wonderful taste treat that can be used as a meal at
lunch time or when you are very busy and have not got time
for a meal. They are made from fruit and fruit juices and
their creamy consistency reminds one of a shake made from
dairy. Fruit smoothies contain no dairy, additives, cholesterol,
fat or artificial ingredients that are found in milk shakes
that are made commercially. For the people who are watching
their weight it is interesting to note that when fruit smoothies
are consumed on an empty stomach no weight will be gained
only energy and nutrients. The great tasting fruit smoothies
are endless and following are just a few examples to get started.
APPLE BANANA ROYAL SMOOTHIE
2 large delicious apples
2 pitted organic dates
1 ripe banana fresh or frozen
Juice 1 apple then peel, seed and core the second apple and
cut into cubes. In a blender combine the apple juice, dates,
cubed apple and banana and puree. Enjoy your Apple Banana
Royal Smoothie.
HEAVENLY MANGO SMOOTHIE
1 apple
1 Tbs shredded coconut
2 cups fresh mango
1 1/2 bananas
Slice the apple and peel it if it is not organic and then
juice it. In a blender combine the apple juice, coconut, mango
and bananas and puree. The Heavenly Mango Smoothie is delicious
to have for breakfast.

BLUEBERRY DELIGHT SMOOTHIE
1 cup organic blueberries
1 pitted organic date
1 large apple
2 bananas fresh or frozen
Peel the apple if it is not organic then slice and juice it.
In a blender combine the juice, blueberries, pitted dates
and bananas and then puree. Enjoy your healthy natural Blueberry
Delight Smoothie.
